Writing is the philosopher’s art, the weaving of theoretical events to create a tale like a quilt, with details and intricacies to spark thoughts and ideas into the mind of the reader. I write because I like to think. In a world where free thinking is often discouraged, writing is a brief glimpse to a free Elysium. On a clean, crisp sheet of lined paper, I can give my ideas a new form, that of a bird. In their new form these birds can fly freely from my mind to the world, in the hopes that their song my bring happiness, curiosity, tears, anger, but most importantly, thought.
